Court Check (Prověrka soudů)
An online service that finds out whether any Czech court has an ongoing or past case against you.
The problem
Finding out whether a court case is running against you meant writing to dozens of courts, tracking deadlines and piecing replies together. By hand, and slowly.
The solution
Court Check automates the whole process:
- it sends GDPR Article 15 requests to about 95 district, municipal and regional courts through the official Czech data box system,
- it tracks delivery and replies, and sends an automatic reminder after 30 days,
- it compiles the results into a clear report with case numbers, case type, role and status.
How it works
- Identity verification via Bank iD, or a notarised power of attorney.
- A check can be ordered for someone else (family, employer, landlord), always with their consent.
- Court replies are archived as signed data messages (ZFO); personal data is stored encrypted.
- Unclear cases are reviewed by a person. An API is available for businesses.
The service is currently in trial operation.
